Santa Rosa Academy football team defeats CMI, 46-14

Junior quarterback Andrew Sharp passed for two touchdowns and ran for another TD as the Santa Rosa Academy football team defeated California Military Institute 46-14 Friday night.

Sharp completed 9 of 11 passes for 127 yards in addition to running for 81 yards on 8 carries. Jacob Goode also played QB for the Rangers, completing 3 of 4 passes for 16 yards and a touchdown. SRA featured a balanced offense all-around in this nonleague game, which improved their record to 2-0.

Junior Nate Bock rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown and caught a 23-yard touchdown pass. Senior Dominick Thomas rushed for 42 yards and a touchdown and caught 4 passes for 46 yards and a TD. Tyler Quaintance also caught a touchdown pass.

Travis Maisenbaucher led the defense with 8 solo tackles and Brody Sather had 7.
