Public Input Sought at March 30 Recreation Workshop

Menifee residents will have an opportunity to express their views regarding the future use and development of parks trails, open space and other recreation amenities in the city.

A public workshop will be held Monday at 6 p.m. at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center, 29995 Evans Road. Members of the city's community services department and representatives of RJM Design Group Inc. will be in attendance to receive input from residents.

RJM was awarded a contract to create the Parks, Trails, Open Space and Recreation Master Plan during a year-long, six-phase process. The workshop is part of phase 3, the public involvement process, which continues through May.

Residents will be asked about current use of the parks and what recreational facilities and programs are needed over the next 10 years. Refreshments will be served.
