DUI Patrol in Menifee Results in 3 Arrests

Three motorists were arrested on alcohol-related offenses during a DUI patrol conducted March 28 by the Menifee Police Department.

Officers conducted the patrol from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. throughout the city. Results of the operation were:

-- 29 vehicles were stopped
-- 18 drivers were given standardized field sobriety tests
-- 3 drivers was arrested for DUI – alcohol
-- 1 driver was arrested and cite/released for driving with a suspended license
-- 2 drivers were cite/released for driving unlicensed
-- 6 vehicles were towed

Funding for the program is from a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
