Menifee in Pictures: Landmark Water Tower on the Hill

This isn't just any water tower. It's our water tower.

Christine Piccola, one of our readers, hiked up to the top of the hill east of Interstate 215 to get a close-up shot of the tower, which is brightly adorned with the City of Menifee banner. It is recognizable from all around town, and to those traveling by on the freeway.

Christine has lived in Menifee since 1991, when she was a seventh grader at Menifee Valley Middle School. She recently completed the photography program at Mt. San Jacinto College.

"Menifee in Pictures" is a daily feature on Menifee 24/7. Readers are invited to contribute photos for publication. Email your photos as a .jpg file to and we'll select one for publication each day, along with your name as the photographer. Please include your full name on the submission and any explanation about where and when the photo was taken.

  1. I know this is shameless self promotion but it's good to see my work in action. What do you think about the light pole banners?
