Provecho’s menu is getting a makeover. Not only is the look of the menu completely revamped, but the offering of entrees and appetizers had expanded as well.
The first change regular restaurant goers might notice is that the famous Provecho Burger is no longer a secret menu item, but is now featured and just as delicious as ever. Four particularly taste bud enticing additions include Chiles Gueritos, the Piñata Platter, El Matador, and The Pambazo; don’t worry, we’ll explain.
To start your meal with a spicy kick, Provecho has added a comfort food favorite from Mexico, the Chiles Gueritos, to the appetizer offerings. Chiles Gueritos is a yellow chile rellenos stuffed with chipotle-buttered, soy marinated grilled shrimp and topped with a light drizzle of house-made creamy Cajun sauce. Sweet, spicy, salty, and vibrant this dish ignites your taste buds like no other.
Another newcomer to the appetizer menu is the Piñata Platter. Essentially featuring a little of all the classic favorites, this combination of cheese nachos, grilled flour quesadilla, and shredded beef taquitos is the perfect complement to a happy hour cold beverage.
Then travel to Mexico City for Provecho’s take on the torta, in either breakfast or lunch and dinner form. The El Matador is a grilled breakfast torta stacked high with carne asada, chorizo, potatoes, and black beans and topped with huevo rancheros, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pico de gallo, and cheese. This here is a hearty breakfast sandwich for anyone with a size large appetite.
The final addition is an improved rendition of the Pambazo, Provecho’s Mexican version of the French dip. The torta is first drowned in Chile Colorado, then grilled and stuffed with carne asada, chorizo, potatoes, beans, lettuce, tomato, pico de gallo, and sour cream before enduring a smothering of Chili Colorado sauce.
