Volunteers Needed for Work Day at Oak Grove at the Ranch

Oak Grove Center for Education, Treatment & The Arts will host a volunteer work day at its Perris school, known as Oak Grove at the Ranch, Saturday at 10 a.m. The nonprofit organization recently purchased an existing building in Perris and is renovating it for the special needs children the organization serves.

Families and individuals are invited to join members of Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley and Oak Grove as they paint, clean and prepare the facility for the 2012-2013 school year.

In addition, local celebrity Erik Turner, founder and former guitarist for the band Warrant, will be in attendance with his own family, working as volunteers. Turner hopes to teach his son the benefits of giving back.

Oak Grove at the Ranch is located at 1251 North A Street in Perris.
