Local performers entertain crowd at Menifee's Got Talent

More than 20 local residents sang, danced, played instruments and entertained a large crowd in the Paloma Valley High School theater Friday night at the 5th annual Menifee's Got Talent performance.

Arts Council Menifee sponsors the annual event, in which residents audition, are selected and then perform for the audience. ACM is a non-profit cultural and educational agency dedicated to supporting visual arts, music, theater, dance and literary arts.

Drake Mernick, age 10, performed classical music on the piano.

Chelsea Snow, 12-year-old aspiring operatic singer, showed off her beautiful voice for the crowd.

Guests enjoyed hearing members of the Menifee Valley Middle School Vocal Jazz Ensemble.

Victoria Marquez and Rene Garcia performed vocals and on piano.

Cedric Turner and Anahi Rodriguez displayed their singing voices to the near-capacity crowd.

Angelina Mona, age 16, sang and played piano for the crowd.

Joyful Feet of Menifee is a line dancing group formed five years ago.

Guests packed the theater at Paloma Valley High School for the event.
