It's not unusual to see wildlife in the rural parts of Menifee -- particularly wild birds in local fields, on lakes and golf courses. But some rural land owners keep bees, as you can see in this closeup provided by Susan Lane.

Susan captured this photo of a newborn bee popping its head out of its birth cell in what also serves as the honeycomb. Susan keeps bees on her rural property and enjoys the outdoor life.
