Juvenile on Bike Suffers Minor Injuries When Struck by Car

A juvenile on a bicycle suffered minor injuries when struck by a car at the intersection of Newport Road and Antelope Road this morning, police said.

The accident was reported at 7:11 a.m.. Witnesses reported seeing the juvenile lying in the street near the crosswalk on Newport Road, being handed a blanket by a bystander moments after the accident occurred.

According to Deputy Armando Munoz of the Menifee Police Department, the juvenile was transported to a local hospital. He did not have information on the gender or age of the victim.
