Council Approves Design Team for Holland Road Overpass

This map shows the proposed route of the Holland Road overpass across Interstate 215, stretching from near Mt. San Jacinto College on the east to a landing spot near a storage business on the west side of the freeway.
The Menifee City Council Wednesday approved the staff's recommendation to award the design project for the proposed Holland Road freeway overpass to TY Lin International.

This approval is an initial step in the project, which would give Menifee motorists another route across Interstate 215. There is no exact timetable for the project, but initial plans called for a completion date in early 2017.

According to city documents, cost of the agreement with the design team is not to exceed $1.76 million. Funding for construction of the project is still being accomplished.
