Temecula Man Pulls Gun on Girl Selling Cookies at His Door

A Temecula man was arrested this morning after he pulled a gun on a girl who was selling cookies at his door, police said.

The juvenile girl, whose age was not given, was going door to door selling cookies, according to a report filed by the Temecula Police Department. When she knocked on the suspect's door, he opened the door and pointed a gun at her. The victim's father witnessed the incident and called police.

John Dodrill, 59, was taken into custody without incident on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Officers seized the weapon as evidence.
