The Menifee Valley Historical Association recently created a website to inform the public about its meetings and resources as a source of information regarding the history of the area.

Readers can now visit www.menifeehistory.com to learn about the organization, which is preparing to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The public is also invited to attend the group's next meeting, this Saturday, Jan. 18, at 9:30 a.m. at the Haun Rural Center, 31850 Haun Road.

On the website, visitors can view old photos, read about the activities of the association and order copies of the book "Images of America: Menifee Valley," written and assembled by association board members Elinor Martin and Betty Bouris.
