CIF Champion Heritage Football Team Honored by City Officials

Mayor Scott Mann (left) and city councilman John Denver (right) were among those presenting a city proclamation to Heritage High School principal Julie Zierold and football coach Kraig Broach in recognition of the team's CIF championship.
The Heritage High School CIF champion football team was honored with a special proclamation during Wednesday night's City Council meeting.

Mayor Scott Mann and other members of the city council made the presentation to Heritage principal Julie Zierold and head coach Kraig Broach. The Patriots had a 13-1 record this season, finished Sunbelt League undefeated for the fourth straight year, and beat Rancho Verde 34-33 in the CIF-SS Central Division championship game.
