The fun begins at 7 p.m. by the flag pole in front of the community center on the Menifee Road side of the park. There will be treats for all and games for the kids. Come have a cup of witches' brew and mingle with the other "ghouls."
Following a parade of those in costume, judges will present awards for the best costumes in various age categories. Whether you're dressed as a cuddly creature or a frightening monster, there's a category for you. Even adults can dress up and enter!
So save the date -- Oct. 30, the night before Halloween -- at 7 p.m. at Wheatfield Park. We're looking for individuals and businesses interested in donating prizes. If you have questions or if you'd like to volunteer to help out in any way at this event, email us at email@example.com.
