Name: Black Jack
Breed: Dachshund/Cocker Spaniel Mix
Age: 7 1/2 years
Gender: Male, neutered
Black Jack's Story: We featured Black Jack a couple months ago right here, but he is still looking for his forever home. Black Jack is a mixed breed dog who does not look like any particular breed of dog, but DNA test results reveal his ancestry is Dachshund, American Eskimo, Cocker Spaniel and Mixed Breed through grandparents. He’s a nice size, not too big and not too small. He stands 15 to 16 inches at the shoulders and weighs approximately 25 pounds.
Health: Handsome Black Jack is healthy, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, housetrained and microchipped. Black Jack has been at the rescue for six months now and he’d love to have a home of his own. He’s considered hard to adopt because he is black, mixed breed, and older, but he needs a home just the same, and we’re hoping someone will want to give this rescued dog a loving home. He’s a good dog who loves to go for walks and car rides and to play fetch with his toys. Black Jack still has many years of love and companionship to give.
