"Now we have a digital machine to inject the pigment, and the technicians are better than they used to be," said Dove. "It hardly traumatizes the skin, and we use anesthetics to make the experience more comfortable."
There is no danger of allergic reaction and virtually no possibility of infection, Dove said. If the customer is concerned, a test pigmentation is performed on a small patch of skin behind the ear and is checked a day later.
The digital machine is adjustable so different amounts of pressure can be used. Obviously, work on the eyelids require less pressure than the eyebrows. Pigmentation added to the lips normally takes two or three sessions. Most sessions last about an hour.
Eyelash extensions are meticulously applied individually to each eyelash, using adhesives. These provide women with longer, thicker eyelash that last up to three weeks. Different lengths, thicknesses and curls are available.
