Women's Self Defense Class Set for March 7 at MSJC

A women's self defense workshop will be held Thursday, March 7 from noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Menifee Valley campus of Mt. San Jacinto College, room 805.

This event is hosted by the Mt. San Jacinto College Diversity Committee to honor Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day (March 8). This hands-on self defense class helps empower women with self defense strategies and techniques to defend themselves, should the need arise.

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable, loose clothing, and no jewelry. This event is free and open to the public.

For more information, contact Vera Stamenkovic at 951-683-6322 or vstamenkovic@msjc.edu, or Tamara Smith at 951-487-3644 or tsmith@msjc.edu.

  1. Too bad this wasn't offered at other times as well. Those who work, or have kids will be hard pressed to attend.
