Event coordinator Ruth Bol (far left) was one of many lovely ladies who dressed up for the red carpet.
Members of the Rotary Club of Menifee dressed in formal attire and arrived to a red carpet reception Saturday night at Aces Comedy Club, celebrating the club's 50th anniversary.

Senator Bill Emmerson and Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez presented the group with a proclamation honoring the club, which began as the Sun City Rotary Club in 1963. The $65 a plate dinner and silent auction raised funds for the club, which performs service both in Menifee and around the world through Rotary International.

About 120 guests enjoyed a comedy show featuring Tom Wilson, best known for his role as Biff in the "Back to the Future" movies. Guests also contributed to local artist Luciano Paesani's latest community painting, which included the iconic Rotary Wheel and a likeness of Tom Carpenter, a charter member of the club who passed away last fall.

Rotary President Carol Sullivan presided over the event, which was coordinated by Rotary member Ruth Bol and the Too Much Tina Media and Marketing Group.

Sponsors for the event were:

-The Children’s Dental Practice
-Too Much Tina Media
-Rilynn Company Insurance Services
-Eastern Municipal Water District
-Menifee 24/7
-Hope Plaza Pharmacy
-Elevate Fitness
-Rancho Family Medical Group

  2. The woman in the Red dress on the far right should have more material covering the girls! That's just a little too much exposure to be the cover photo on this website.

  3. Depending on your level of standards and class you may or may not have an issue. Personally I didn't want to have to see that.

  4. A snob is easily identified as one who believes they determine standards and class. They of course think anyone who doesn't believe as they do is beneath them. Personally I think they are way too impressed with their own opinions.
