Sun City Man Suffers Injuries in Attack at Temecula Bar

A Sun City man suffered a broken nose, lacerations and abrasions when he was attacked by another man with a glass beer stein in a Temecula bar, police said today.

According to a report from the Temecula Police Department, the incident occurred at Hard Hat's Bar, located at 27713 Jefferson Ave. in Temecula, Friday, Feb. 15 at 7:20 p.m. The victim, a 48-year-old male whose name was not released, reported that the attack was unprovoked. He received medical aid for his injuries.

The alleged attacker had left the scene when police arrived, but the victim got the suspect's license plate number and provided that to officers. The vehicle was located and the driver detained. The suspect, 32-year-old Michael Osborne of Temecula, was arrested and booked into the Southwest Detention Center for assault with a deadly weapon.
