It is hard to believe Provecho Grill has been open for only a year. Between their community involvement and quickly established reputation for excellent authentic food, one would think they had been a part of Menifee for more than 365 days.
This Monday, Jan. 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. they will celebrate their one-year mark in true Provecho style, with live music and good food of course. The celebration is set to feature the Barefoot Duo and folklorico dancers, black jack tables from Feeling Lucky Entertainment, food and drink specials, and a specially created limited menu.
Chef and owner, Rosie O’Connor, has made a name for herself by putting out consistently fresh and innovative Mexican cuisine. She is always cooking and creating new menu items and special features. She loves to feed people, and it is evident not only in her food by in her joyous disposition.
“I would just like to thank the community for supporting us, for welcoming us, and for making us feel loved,” O’Connor shares. “This year went really fast. We feel that the community has embraced us, and we are so thankful.”
Throughout their first year they’ve celebrated a lot of little firsts for the restaurant, while helping others to celebrate their special occasions. The first couple to celebrate an anniversary at Provecho, the first 90th birthday party, even the first 1st birthday celebration. “People that walk through the door become family,” O’Connor says smiling.
As a restaurant owner and entrepreneur she is always full of ideas and new goals, she excitedly discussed their desire to be a part of this community for many more years to come. And Menifee is excited to enjoy your food for many many years!
