Heritage Improves Record to 4-1 Behind Play of Morrow

Jamal Morrow rushed for 198 yards and two touchdowns and caught a pass for another score Friday night, leading Heritage High School's football team to a 45-30 victory over visiting Rialto.

Heritage scored on the game's opening drive on a 3-yard run by Sione Takitaki, but Rialto roared back to take a 10-7 lead. But on the next play from scrimmage, Morrow raced 50 yards to the end zone to put Heritage back on top for good. The Patriots led 21-10 at halftime and scored three more times in the third quarter to put the game away.

Heading into its Sunbelt League opener at Perris in two weeks, Heritage is 4-1. Quarterback Mat Bradshaw completed 8 of 9 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown.
