The Menifee City Council will consider final approval of its budget for the fiscal year 2012-13 at its regular meeting tonight at City Hall.
The proceedings will begin with a 6 p.m. workshop in which further details of the budget will be discussed. The proposed budget totals just over $37 million in expenditures, including $23.8 million from the general fund. This budget proposal reflects the loss of an estimated $3.9 million in vehicle license fees, which now goes to the state as the result of Senate Bill 89.
