The Arts Council of Menifee held their second annual Arts Showcase at the Countryside Marketplace this Saturday. With an afternoon full of entertainment, it was the perfect opportunity for members of the community to enjoy the beautiful day and unleash their creative side.

With one stage set up near the Beer Hunter and a second near the scenic pond, the amount of on stage entertainment was endless. The following list of performers were just a few of the highlights of the day:

White Feather- Native American Flutist
Sable Hardin- Country Western Vocalist
Dick Sala- Musical Theater
Paul Burlson- Songs of the Old West
Bill Craig- Popular Standards
Marci Duncker- Pianist
Stephen Roper- Author
JR Reed- Classical Electric Guitar
Steady Impact- Rock Band
Heritage High School Theater Arts Department
Steve and Kat Sanders- Vocal Duo
Peter Thorwarth & Bill Zimmerman- Vocal Duo
Keewild Band
Tom Powers - Easy Listening
Full Frontal Noodity- Country Western Band
Steve Parker- Harmonica Player

The winners of the Menifee Writing Contest were able to pick up their free crispy taco courtesy of Provecho  Grill, and their winning essays were read aloud to the an applauding audience.

Several local art vendors made an appearance as well. Attendees had the chance to purchase some fantastic art pieces from local artists, or indulge in crafts set up at various booths.

The opportunity to make a glass pendant gave community members the chance
to unleash their creative side.

The Heritage High School Band and Pageantry gave a crowd inducing performance.
