Having come from a loving home where she lived for many years, today's adoptable sweetheart is already well mannered and house trained. She is accustom to being a domestic house pet and would make a wonderful compliment to any family.

Adoptable pet of the week, Zoe.

pet of the week
Name: Zoe

Breed: English Pointer & German Shepherd mix

Age: 7 years

Gender: Female, spayed

Temperament: Zoe is an adult dog and so, is relatively calm and quiet. Her mellow disposition makes her well suited for senior citizens and low energy homes. She is extremely easy going and very loving.

She is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly and loves both people and other dogs. She rides easily in the car and is house broken. Zoe would make an excellent addition to almost any home.

pet of the weekZoe’s Story: Zoe was a beloved household pet for many years until recently, when her owner passed away in early April. She is looking for lots of love and a new forever home.

Come see Zoe, and other adoptable friends, seven days a week at Sun City K9 Adoptions.

While Sun City K9 mourns the loss of friend and animal advocate, Kim Goble, they continue to lovingly carry on her work just as she would have wanted.

Kim’s memorial is set to take place Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Temecula.

To donate to the memorial fund or to SCK9 in Kim’s honor, please contact Marie Monsen at the shelter, (951) 301-9928.

  1. I'm not happy at all with the rope around Zoe's neck. its not a collar, looks just like a rope. looks like it would get too tight. Hopefully I'm wrong. Darcorky@aol.com

  2. Hi Darlene, Thank you for your concern. It was lead used while we took pictures of Miss Zoe right outside her kennel. She was very relaxed and calm and not pulling at all. They use leashes for walking their dogs and treat their dogs with incredible love and concern.
