Ten People Arrested in Menifee Yesterday for Driving Under the Influence

The Menifee Police Department conducted a DUI saturation patrol last night and reported the following results...

31 vehicles were stopped.

Ten persons were evaluated for driving under the influence; of them, two were arrested for DUI.

Two persons were arrested for driving under the influence.

Two vehicles were towed because the driver was arrested for either being on a suspended license, and two vehicles towed for driving under the influence.

Seven citations were issued for traffic violations.

Two persons were arrested for driving on a suspended license.

The patrol was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

  1. Just think, IF these checkpoints were in place all over the United States on a daily basis. Just think, how many cars would be OFF the road and how many more criminals would be behind bars or shipped back to their own countries!
