Menifee Resident Offers Beginning Sewing Classes

Ever wonder how to read a pattern? Do you want to know what interfacing is? Do you want to use a sewing machine for more than collecting dust? Well nows the time to learn!

A local Menifee resident will be holding two beginner sewing classes; February 21st at 6:00pm and February 23rd at 3:00pm. The classes will be held at 28469 Scenic Bay Cove in the Heritage Lake community. The cost will be $10.00 a person for a 1 hour class and each class is limited to 6 persons. Should there be a need, a third class may be opened February 24th at 3:00pm.

In class you will learn a few basics of hand sewing as well as on the machine. How to read and follow patterns. How to add elastic to waistbands. How to sew a hem (machine and hand). Plus, you will also learn some tools and tricks of the trade. If you don't, you will get a chance to use mine.

Each student is encouraged, but not required, to bring the following:
