These are..

Both are administered by Valley Wide. From what I could see, Valley Wide still has some finishing touches to put on these parks. It's also nice to see that these also have baseball fields.

  1. Now that Menifee is a city, will there be some type of park disrict for all the parks. I think valleywide takes better care or their parks than the county.

  2. I think Valley Wide will still be in charge of their parks and the other ones will go to the city to maintain.

  3. Anyone have the phone number of Valley-Wide? I need to contact them about some landscaping issues.

  5. More family parks - NEATO! I just want to know if these parks are open to all of us; or are they just for the ones who live there, i.e. Menifee Lakes which no one dare to tread; or fish; or enter! Tell me before I 'defile' it with stepping into it...only to get embarrassed and cited for not knowing I'm treading on someone's HOA property.

  6. First of all, all of the Parks in Menifee are open to the Public, they are not private. Secondly, the "Lake" in Menifee Lakes IS PRIVATE because it is located within the Menifee Lakes HOA and those who live in those boundries are paying for it in their monthly dues. So why should those who do not pay those monthly dues have usage?? The La Paloma Park is located right next to the Lake and many people might believe it is part of the Park, but IT IS NOT. There are signs telling visitors that the Lake is Private. I don't see why everyone takes offense to this fact. It is what it is ! Enjoy the Parks in Menifee. P.S Did you know that the ML HOA also puts on Concerts in that same park during the Summer?? Do they kick you out of the park if your not part of the HOA?? No they do not, and those Concerts are paid for by the Residents of the ML HOA. So enjoy !! WE ARE NOT SNOBS...just homeowners who pay more in DUES !!

  7. So put up a fence!!!!!!!!!!! Or charge a yearly fee of your HOA Dues to any one that wants to use it.

  8. I like the last poster's idea of charging a yearly fee for use of the lake. I have been jogging and roller blading around the lake with friends that live there. I know there are other areas I can jog or roller blade, but the lake is peaceful, pleasant scenery and safer than jogging or roller blading in the street. I would be willing to pay a small fee the HOA to be able for limited access and use.

  9. Kabian Park in Quail Valley was not on the park list??

  10. You people don't seem to get it or accept it. If you want extra perks like a Lake, bike/rollerblade trails, fising, boating & Beach Club usage, than BUY a home in that HOA. WHY should this be made available to non-association residents JUST because it's there, and it's beautiful & peaceful. Your right it should be gated to keep out those who do NOT BELONG. But now that would take away it's beauty and appeal. Let's face it folks, some people just want to ride for free. Oh yeah, you are willing to pay for it !! Ha Ha Ha now that's rich.....imagine trying to collect on that bill. One thing no one thinks about is the HUGE liability that these HOA homeowners take on, when they open up their lake to everyone. It increases the chances for accidents and lawsuits. Of course why would you care about that, you as a non HOA would never see that debt. But WE should let you enjoy the things that WE pay for....JUST BECAUSE IT'S NOT FAIR TO YOU....booo hooo hoooo

  11. Kabian Park is indeed listed on the site under its real name, "Roy W. Kabian Memorial Park".

  12. Some of the new council members I have spoke with stated that they would be in favor of having a contract with Valley Wide to take over the parks on the west side of the 215 when the CFD's fold into the City of Menifee's control. I would be in favor of that as long as Valley Wide becomes more active in Menifee and starts a more progressive youth and senior plan. They build nice parks and have good programs for a parks district that is so big and covers a wide economic area - however with our specific wants and concerns as a new city I think we really need to have people who are focused on Menifee and its residents needs.
