The "Perris Valley Line" is the extension of the Metrolink commuter rail system from Riverside down to Perris. The rail is supposed to be functional by 2011.

The meeting is just to keep the public informed of what's going on. I'll probably be there.

  1. A rail system would be good if I could get somewhere close to where I work. I'd have to park a car in OC to drive to and from work in addition to driving to the Perris station. I guess that would be doable. The time spent may be worth the price of gas in 2011, after all. At this rate, 15 dollars a gallon?

  2. A great rail system in and out of the area is the right solution and the sooner we get behind it, the sooner we can keep the traffic congestion, smog and noise out of the area. If we insisted that a % of all transportation revenues was set aside for rail we could have the communities we love. Perris stations will be a great start.

Did you make it to this meeting? I was not able to make it.
