One person was hospitalized but no children were injured Thursday when a school bus collided with a passenger vehicle in Menifee, authorities said.

The collision occurred at 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Goetz Road and Juanita Drive, according to a Cal Fire news release. Neither the bus driver nor the children were injured. The driver of the other vehicle was transported with minor injuries.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. No other details were immediately available.
