Riverside County health officials announced 20 more confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Menifee today, adding to an upswing in cases that is typical of cities throughout the county in the last two weeks.

Since June 26, there have been 157 reported cases of COVID-19 in Menifee. This means that 37 percent of the city's nearly four-month total of 430 cases has been reported in the last 12 days.

Here are the COVID-19 numbers reported on Wednesday, July 8 by the Riverside County Health Department:

Total individuals tested: 268,613 (increase of 3,698)

Total confirmed cases: 21,957 (increase of 856)

Total deaths: 515 (increase of 9)

Confirmed cases in Menifee: 430 (increase of 20)

Deaths in Menifee: 6 (no change)

Hospitalized: 506 (decrease of 12)

Number in ICU: 122 (decrease of 8)

Number recovered: 9,072 (increase of 176)
