Heritage High School scored four touchdowns in the last eight minutes Friday night to break open a tight game and score a 50-29 victory over Redlands East Valley.

The host Patriots remained unbeaten at 4-0 with the win, which featured three touchdown runs by Sherod White, who finished with 235 yards rushing. James Phillips added 100 yards and a touchdown.

The score was 22-22 early in the fourth quarter when Patriots quarterback Devan Freedland recovered White's fumble in the end zone for a touchdown. Soon after, White scored on a 28-yard run for a touchdown and a a 36-22 lead.

After a Redlands East Valley touchdown, Heritage increased its lead once again on a 75-yard touchdown run by White. The Patriots scored their final touchdown with about a minute left when Phillips ran 25 yards for the score.

Ika Tuatala (40-yard run) and Rashoud Shelton (33-yard pass reception) also scored for Heritage.

Next Friday, the Patriots play Orange Lutheran High at Orange Coast College.
