The Paloma Valley High School girls soccer team will play a 5 p.m. CIF quarterfinal playoff game at Bloomington today.

The Wildcats advanced to the quarterfinals with a 2-0 win at La Sierra on Tuesday. Goalkeeper Christina Rodriguez made five saves and the goals were scored by Emily Gonzalez (penalty kick) and Melody Gonzalez (assisted by Blakelynn Hendricks).

The Paloma Valley girls basketball team lost its second-round playoff game at Peninsula Wednesday night, 59-35.
