San Jacinto Animal Shelter Performs its First Menifee Reunion

It took less than a day for the first Menifee pet reunion to take place through the city's new agreement with the San Jacinto Valley Animal Campus.

Priscilla Castle (left) and her two daughters were reunited with their 10-year-old chocolate lab Ivan Tuesday. Ivan was sheltered at the San Jacinto facility while his owner was being located.

All the stray pets’ photos will be posted on a link that can be found on the county’s official website. Pet owners should click on the LOST AND FOUND PETS tab on the left side of the screen to find pets that have recently been impounded at the San Jacinto Valley Animal Campus.

The county uses Pet Harbor, an online, third-party database, to help assist pet owners in reuniting with their pets. Pet owners can click on various search parameters, such as dog or cat, gender, age and size. A direct link for San Jacinto Valley Animal Campus stray pets can be found here.
