The Children’s Dental Practice of Menifee is more than just a dental office; it is a caring place of honest compassion and community outreach. Together Dr. Ruth Bol and her staff seek to not only jumpstart a lifetime of successful dental health for their patients but also to inspire greatness far beyond the dental chair.
To kick off the New Year The Children’s Dental Practice has sought some young stand-out local stars in the Menifee community. They wish to highlight these motivated young individuals and to recognize their impressive talents. As a pediatric dental office they understand the importance of encouraging the interests and above average talents of the youth in their community.
Dr. Ruth Bol has a personal adoration of the arts and appreciates dance and theater. Spotlighting her patients is just one way she gives back to the Menifee community.
This month Jordyn Spears has stolen the show with her singing and dancing talents. At only 8 years old this sweet girl has zero stage fright and 100% talent. According to her mother Angela Spears, Jordyn excels in sports, school and extracurricular activities. She has taken dance for two years as well as singing and acting classes and is constantly writing songs and plays for her family to act out. Last year she participated in the school talent show and sang with her friends. She recently took up the guitar and her mother could not be more proud of her ambitious daughter.
“She shines on stage,” boasts Angela Spears.
Third grader Jordyn shares that she is inspired by many singers and songwriters when she hears their music. She dreams of being a multitalented singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, model, and maybe even an author and a teacher too. Understanding that vocals and singing go hand in hand with the guitar, she noticed a lot of the artists she looks up to play guitar so she decided to give it a try as well. Not surprisingly her favorite song is currently “Can't stop Singing” by Mia Mitchell and Ross Lynch from the Teen Beach Movie.
When asked what she likes best about music she answered, “The rhythm, beat, and the lyrics…even though sometimes they are hard to understand.”
As a 4.0 student she thrives on personal success, but what she especially loves about performing for an audience is the applause that follows. Her goals for the year are straightforward and inspirational; to sing in front of a crowd, to be a straight A student, and to have a bunch of friends. There is one thing that’s for sure, with her drive and ambition Jordyn has a very bright future ahead of her.
Congratulations Jordyn Spears, you’re a star!
