A 29-year-old male died at local hospital today from injuries sustained in a skydiving accident near Perris Airport, police said.
Officers responded to an air emergency at the airport, located at 2091 Goetz Road in Perris. The accident victim, identified as Jason Granger of Yuma, Ariz., was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
Perris Station detectives were notified and assumed control of the investigation.
