Bicyclist Rescued From Santa Rosa Plateau by Helicopter

Riverside County Firefighters and U.S. Forest Service personnel assisted in the rescue Sunday morning of a bicyclist from a remote area one mile off Stevenson Trail on the Santa Rosa Plateau in unincoporated Murrieta.

Rescue crews responded to a call of a bicyclist down at 9:22 a.m. Three engine companies responded and a helicopter performed a hoist rescue at 11:13 a.m. of the adult male, whose identity was not released. The man who transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
