Menifee in Pictures: What's the Story Behind This?

OK, folks, for the benefit of those of us who are relatively new to Menifee, what's the story behind "Eagle Rock"?

How many of you know where this painted rock formation is? Who painted it? What can you tell us? Leave a comment here to fill us in.

  1. Know where it is - it's pretty cool, but don't have a clue who painted it or when...ELW

  2. I know exactly where "Eagle Rock" is... Ive lived in Menifee since 1986 and its always been there. Although it has been repainted within the last 5yrs. Hopefully somebody out there can explain the history...xoxo

  3. It was above the field behind Walgreens at the corner of Newport and Murrieta Road. It was there for years. Don't know who painted it, it just appeared one day.

  4. Who Ever What ever.. I say leave it and re-paint it.. We ARE Americans ...A cross would be nice too~

  5. I know it has been there for a long time, since about 1991 when we first moved to Menifee.
