Dorothy Wolons, CEO of the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce, has been named a finalist for a community service award from the National Association of Women Business Owners.

The Inland Empire chapter of NAWBO will announce the winner of the Community Bridge Award on April 18 at a location to be announced. At the awards dinner, outstanding women business owners in the Inland Empire will be recognized for their contributions in several categories: as trailblazers, rising stars, community bridge builders and legacy makers.

Hundreds of women are nominated for this award each year. Last year, Menifee residents Nicole Farrell, Carmelita Rood, Darlene Tarnoski and Robbie Motter were nominees in the various categories.
