Inland Valley residents with a creative flair are invited to enter their artwork in Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley's annual holiday ornament contest.

Contestants must submit their artwork on a small to medium-sized canvas, preferably 5 x 7 inches or smaller, featuring the theme "Home for the Holidays." Each entry will be displayed in some way -- the Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley website, holiday card and/or Christmas Tree Lane event at the Promenade Temecula.

"We chose 'Home for the Holidays' as the inspiration for the contest to tie into our mission to improve living conditions for families in our community," said Tammy Marine, chief executive officer of Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley.

The grand prize winner will have his or her work prominently displayed during the Christmas Tree Lane event. The runner-up will be featured on the Habitat holiday card.

Entries must be submitted by Sept. 21. Entries can be mailed or hand delivered to Habitat for Humanity headquarters, 41615 Winchester Road, Temecula 92591. For more information, email elizabeth@habitat4inlandvalley.org or all 951-296-3362.
