Freeway Interchange Work Halted For Holiday Weekend

Construction on the Interstate 215/Newport Road Interchange project will stop during the Memorial Day weekend of Friday through Monday nights, May 22-25, City of Menifee officials announced today. This is designed to help ease traffic flow during the holiday weekend.

Work will resume on Tuesday night with nighttime lane closures on Interstate 215 and on Newport Road, along with on- and off-ramp closures. Nighttime work will continue through May 29, weather permitting.
