Menifee 24/7 Adoptable Pet of the Week: Neko

Name: Neko

Breed: Domestic Short Hair Tabby

Age: 9 years

Color: Brown and black striped tabby with green eyes

Neko's Story: Neko finds himself looking for a new home because his elderly owner was no longer able to care for him. Neko is a very handsome large male cat with a nice, likable personality. He has been neutered, which vastly improves a cat’s behavior. In addition, cats who have been spayed or neutered live longer, healthier lives. Neko is healthy, and has has been vaccinated, dewormed and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Neko is a handsome boy who weighs about 14 pounds.

Look at those big, beautiful green eyes and baby face. He's a fun loving, outgoing, friendly, and people-oriented companion cat. Adult cats are the least likely to be adopted, but need homes of their own just the same.

Adoption Agency: Rescue and Rehome, a small, private rescue located in the Quail Valley/Menifee area and serving Southwest Riverside County. Animals are shown by appointment.

Adoption details: $25 adoption fee to help reimburse for the expense of neuter, vaccinations, deworming and any needed veterinary care. An adoption contract is required. Rescue and Rehome is looking for an owner who is willing and able to make a lifetime commitment to the care of this cat, which is anywhere between 15 and 20 years.

Hours of Operation: Animals are shown by appointment.

Contact: Email or call (951) 244-3215.
