Paloma Valley Dance Team Takes First in Regional Competition

The Paloma Valley High School Elite Dance Team scored a High Gold and took first place at the regional level of the "Celebrity Dance Competition” in Escondido last weekend.

This competition includes hundreds of intermediate to advanced level dancers across California. It is sponsored by a National Dance Competition company whose competitors consist of mostly Dance Studio members. Out of the 273 routines performed over the weekend, Paloma Valley was one of only two high schools present.

The team of PVHS girls competed against dancers who spend a minimum of nine hours a week in the studio.
