Provecho Grill Supports Local Artists in Community

Since day one, Provecho Grill has been about giving back to the local community. One of the many ways they do this is by supporting local art. From musicians to artists, and even authors, Provecho Grill makes it their mission to showcase as many local artists as possible.

“It is so important to support our local artists. And we feel lucky that we have a venue to display multiple works for everyone to come and enjoy in one place,” says owner and executive chef, Rosie O’Connor.

The Provecho interior is richly decorated in art from local artists, including a three-piece large scale installment, a colorful mural, and many smaller works of art as well. The three-piece set of murals was hand illustrated and then painted on custom made wooden frames by local artist Jesse Shane.

A smaller series of canvases painted for Valentine’s day by Luciano Paesani were hung together to create an impressive display and have since sold out.

The floor to ceiling mural leading down Provecho’s long hallway was painted using spray paint by a professional graffiti artist. All art hung in the restaurant is available for sale. In addition, Provecho supports the ongoing work of all of these artists and provides contact information for privately commissioned pieces as well as what is on display in the dining room.

Provecho Grill has sought out local talent to perform live each week at the restaurant and provide entertainment at their special events. Kepi Payne and the Barefoot Duo are a local band from Sun City who perform nearly every week at Provecho. The Brothers of Latin Jazz are another locally sourced favorite form of musical entertainment who also perform frequently in the evenings.
