Everyone is invited to be a part of the 7th annual Sip n’ Swing Preseason Party on Sunday, March 17, when fans of all ages are welcome to Storm Stadium from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission and parking are free to all guests.
Fans will be able to enjoy numerous activities highlighted by free batting practice and a behind-the-scenes stadium tour that includes stops at the clubhouse, the home dugout, the Souvenir Store and the press box level for a look at the newly renovated luxury suites. The kids can enjoy the free Fun Zone and take pictures with Storm mascot, Thunder. Prizes and giveaways will be awarded throughout the event.
Guests can enjoy new menu items in the Diamond Club Restaurant including Ahi Poke tacos, deluxe burgers and more. Themed cuisine on St. Patrick’s Day includes corned beef and cabbage along with festive beer and drink specials. Additionally, there will be a Beer and Sausage Fest, which will be located by the first base picnic area.
Along the stadium concourse will be local non-profit groups, vendors, the Storm Booster Club, face painters and much more.
“The Sip n’ Swing event means it’s baseball time,” said Vice President/ General Manager Chris Jones. “This is a chance for fans to experience what we offer at The Diamond.”
With the upcoming 20th season of Storm baseball, guests will have the opportunity to purchase the best seats for the best nights including Opening Night on April 11.

The Storm baseball season is the best! Thunder the most wonderful mascot ever. I was taken to my first Storm game in 2003 and I am a huge fan. The best evening or afternoon you can spend with friends and family. The good vibes. The good hot dogs. Kids having fun. A real family fun event. Good time. Americana. Red. White and Blue! Go Storm!
