The Menifee Police Department Traffic Unit has released the results of its DUI/Drivers License Checkpoint, conducted Friday from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. at the intersection of Scott and Haun Roads:
-- 1,328 Vehicles screened
-- 101 Vehicles sent to secondary inspection
-- 1 DUI-Alcohol suspect arrested
-- 21 Field sobriety tests administered
-- 16 Drivers cited/arrested for operating a vehicle while unlicensed
-- 12 Drivers cited/arrested for operating a vehicle while suspended/revoked
-- 2 Arrested on other criminal charges
-- 1 Arrested for an outstanding felony warrant
Menifee PD will conduct another DUI/Driver's License Checkpoint on Saturday, March 2, 2013, in an ongoing commitment to lowering deaths and injuries upon local streets and highways.
