As Menifee grows, the city continues to add noteworthy restaurants and eateries. Taste of Menifee seeks to bring all the tasty delights of Menifee’s culinary offerings together in one place for the public to collectively enjoy.

The first annual Taste of Menifee event is set for this Saturday, Oct 13 during Menifee’s day-long Birthday Bash. Starting at 4 p.m. and cooking until 9:30 pm in the Mt. San Jacinto College parking lot, this free family event promises to satisfy one's taste buds.

Local restaurants will feature delicious tasting size portions of some of their menu favorites in the official tasting tent. "Taste Tickets" can be purchased at the ticket table, five for $5. Each vendor will offer bites valued between one and five tickets, and from there families can eat their way from table to table, trying whatever sparks their appetite.

Some of the featured restaurants set to cook up tempting plates include New York’s Upper Crust Pizza, Whimsical Frozen Yogurt & Gelato, Los Primos Mexican Food, Provecho Grill, and TATS Sauces & Marinades. There are expected to be over 12 local eateries showcasing their tastings at Saturday's event.

Several gourmet food trucks will also be on hand for your dining pleasure. Parking will be available in a lot off Antelope Road, just south of the event site.

Not only will this be a fun one-day food extravaganza, but also will help residents discover new favorite places to dine in Menifee. The longterm goal of the tasting extravaganza is for Taste of Menifee to continue to add new vendors and to eventually become its own event.
