The long-time Wildomar resident previously served as bishop of the Wildomar Ward and is survived by his wife of 35 years, Teresa, as well as five children, 11 grandchildren, a sister and three brothers.

The memorial service was held at the Menifee chapel and was presided over by Douglas F. Higham, a General Authority in the worldwide Church.

Cause of death was attributed to multiple myeloma.
