Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu group wins fundraising award

Members of the Carlson Gracie Menifee Jiu Jitsu gym finished as the top fundraisers in the recent Tap Cancer Out San Diego BJJ Open.

The annual tournament is a jiu-jitsu based nonprofit raising awareness and funds for cancer fighting organizations. Local members raised $16,425 through direct donations and merchandise sales to win the Top Fundraising Team Award.

The coach and gym owner is Orlando Alonzo.
