Menifee PD releases quarterly crime report

Menifee Police Department released its quarterly crime report on Wednesday, with burglary and shoplifting topping the list of crimes in the city.

Of the 131 felony arrests made, the majority were for outstanding warrants, parole violation and assault involving domestic violence. Police Chief Walsh also said that 357 traffic collisions were reported in the three-month period, including 29 injury collisions and three fatalities. Sixteen thefts of vehicle parts were primarily of catalytic converters, he said.
