A male student at Elsinore High School was arrested Tuesday after school officials found him in possession of drugs and a deadly weapon on campus, according to police.
A Wildomar Police report states that school officials received information that a student was selling controlled substances -- methamphetamine and marijuana -- on campus. The school resource officer, in conjunction with school officials, identified the juvenile suspect and escorted him to the office. During further investigation, the male suspect was found to be in possession of 2.8 grams of methamphetamine packaged for sales and a switch blade knife.
The suspect was released to the custody of his parents after his arrest. He was suspended by school officials pending possible expulsion. The investigation is ongoing.
